Jim Beakes is a member of the Firm’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Healthcare Group and Appellate and Written Advocacy Group. He focuses his litigation practice on general, trucking and healthcare matters.

Jim obtained his J.D. from Vanderbilt University and is admitted to the Georgia and Tennessee State Bars, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, all districts of Tennessee, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
