Abbott focuses her practice on appeals and written advocacy within the firm’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Healthcare Litigation Team. Abbott has been recognized by Super Lawyers^®, B-Metro, Birmingham Magazine, About Town Magazine and the Birmingham Bar Association. She also clerked for Karon Bowdre of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.

Abbott completed her undergraduate education at Birmingham-Southern College and earned her Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School. She is admitted to the State Bars of Alabama and California and is a member of the Alabama Bar Association, the Birmingham Bar Association and the California Bar Association. Abbott serves on the Opera Birmingham Board of Directors and is a former board member for the Birmingham Bar Foundation.
