Mac is a member of Butler Snow’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Healthcare group. He is involved in multiple aspects of complex pharmaceutical and medical device product liability litigation. In addition to his work for pharmaceutical and medical device clients, Mac has experience representing clients in medical malpractice cases, working with clients, expert witnesses, and trial teams to develop and execute effective defense strategies to obtain favorable resolutions in cases involving medical professionals and their practices. He has leveraged this expertise to author multiple articles for Butler Snow’s Pro Te: Solutio and has had articles republished on the Drug & Device Blog.

Since 2021, Mac has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America® Ones to Watch for his work in Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions – Defendants. He was also recognized as a Super Lawyers® Mid-South Rising Star in General Litigation from 2019 to 2023. Mac is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Memphis Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association.

He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Rhodes College. He is admitted to the Tennessee State Bar.
