Ashley J. Markham
Ashley practices in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Healthcare Litigation Group, where she focuses on defending pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in mass tort and individual cases pending in various state and federal venues throughout the country. She coordinates with a team of attorneys in responding to initial pleadings and assists discovery, motions and trial teams in the preparation and administration of federal MDL and/or related state proceedings involving medical devices. Ashley also has experience defending doctors and hospitals across the State of Tennessee. Best Lawyers in America® named her one of its “Ones to Watch” for Health Care Law (2021-2023).
Ashley obtained her J.D. in 2010 from Mississippi College and her B.A., cum laude, from the University of Mississippi. Following law school, she clerked for the Honorable Chancellor Robert E. Corlew, III of the Rutherford County, Tennessee Chancery Court. She is admitted to practice in Mississippi and Tennessee.
