Raquel Lucas is a member of Butler Snow’s litigation department and practices within the firm’s Pharmaceutical, Device, and Healthcare Litigation group. Raquel is experienced in serving as science counsel and furnishing trial teams with scientific and medical defense strategies.  She has experience cross-examining plaintiffs, treating physicians, and expert witnesses in complex product liability litigation.  She is also skilled at effectively identifying and interpreting scientific literature and formulating strategies for Daubert.

She completed her undergraduate education and J.D. at C.U.N.E.F. in Madrid and earned her Masters of Law from University of Chicago Law School.  She is admitted to practice in New York and Spain.
